A Crystal Moon...by DarkMoonWolf!
Hi! and welcome to "A Crystal Moon", a page about the movie Labyrinth, made by me, DarkMoonWolf Sangui! =) Labyrinth is a movie which was released in 1986, starring Jennifer Connely and David Bowie. It's about an imaginative, young girl named Sarah(Jennifer Connely) who wishes her brother be taken away. Surprisingly, her wish comes true! and she sets out on the adventure of her life, making many odd acquaintances, braving many dangers, and eventually facing the goblin king himself(David Bowie) in an unforgettable climax.
"Through dangers untold and hardships unspoken," these words begin the incredible story of young Sarah, whose about to realize what maturity is. I first saw Labyrinth three years ago, in 1996, when I was about eleven years old watching the disney channel late one night. My brother, eight at the time, and I watched it while eating some popcorn. At first I thought that anything starring puppets would be childish, but I fell in love with the movie the first time I saw it: the acting, the music, David Bowie! Immediately I had a crush on all the characters, even the cowardly Hoggle and the talkative, brave Sir Didymus! I've seen the movie at least eight times within the past three years, and I just can't get enough of it. I jump every time Disney shows it. It doesn't come on too often anymore. I'm hoping to get the video soon, as it was recently re-released on Video and DVD. =)
I loved the music straight off. I now have mp3s of every song on the soundtrack, and I am hoping to get the actual soundtrack soon. I'm having it specially ordered off of Amazon.com. I got the mp3s(and some nifty sound recordings!) off of Ice Princess' Labyrinth page. I also have lyrics to all of the songs from the movie: "Within You" "As the World Falls Down" "Chilly Down" "Underground" and "Magic Dance" I a transcript of the novel and the captions from the movie. I also have an earlier script which was not approved to be made into a movie but is as great as the other!
